Hi I’m Sophia (aka Soph)! I created Elle Travelle to help and encourage young women to travel the world and have an awesome time doing it. On this site, you’ll find countless resources on everything from packing guides to solo travel to hilarious personal travel stories that will not only prevent you from making a lot of the same mistakes I did, but will undoubtedly make you laugh and make you feel a hell of a lot more comfortable in deciding to finally take that “risky” trip you’re family and friends have deemed “too dangerous for a young girl like you”. Let me tell you something ladies- YOU are in control of your lives and the decisions you make. If you’ve always dreamed of riding a camel through the deserts of Jordan since you first saw Aladdin or going to Costa Rica for a highly intensive surf retreat to impress your hot Aussie boyfriend with your surf skills… DO IT! I have visited over 20 countries (and counting) since I first began travelling in my late teens and I cannot even begin to count the benefits I’ve gained from my experiences. Not only will travel expand your perspective on life, but it will catapult your confidence, resourcefulness and compassion for others, which are invaluable attributes which will stick with you for life.
